BUMBOO is a story based on the idea that in this life we all meet someone who comes and screws it all up . Each character in the film screws someone's happiness which create extremely humorous situations and rib tickling comedy. BUMBOO is based on an original story L'Emmerduer written by Francis Veber ( French writer & director with brilliant films like A DINNER GAME , VALET etc. The film when launched in France first time created a history of sorts with its box office success and is considered a comedy classic in France even today.

Synopsis: John Abraham plays Kabir Lal, an alcoholic lawyer straight out of a Dostoyevsky novel. He meets sexy, rich housewife Sonia Khanna (Bipasha Basu) and start a passionate affair fueled by lust that eventually leads to the murder of her husband (Gulshan Grover). Kabir finds no solace in his quest for "happily-ever-after" as his world begins to crumble around him.
