Obul Reddy (Prakash Raj) is a factionist in Kurnool. He falls in love with Swapna (Bhumika). Horrified by the impending danger, father of Swapna gives her certificates and money and asks Swapna to go to her uncle's place in USA. Obul Reddy catches her when she starts traveling.Ajay (Mahesh Babu) is a Kabaddi player and is the son of an Assistant Commissioner of Police (Mukesh Rishi). At this juncture, Ajay - who is in Kurnool to play Kabaddi games - rescues Swapna from the hands of Obul Reddy and takes her to Hyderabad. Ajay takes Swapna to his house and hides her in his room. Ajay, with the help of friends, arranges passport, visa and flight tickets for Swapna.Mean while, the Home Minister (Rajan P Dev) who happens to be the brother of Obul Reddy asks ACP to search for Swapna and the guy who has taken away. When ACP realizes that it's his own son who did the crime, Ajay and Swapna runs away from his home and hides in Charminar.The rest of the story depends on how Obul Reddy traps the couple again and how Ajay emerges victorious.

When Vamsi in guise of a telephone department inspector, pursues her and falls in love with Geetha, she reciprocates Vamsi's love interest initially but refuses him after she gets to know the truth that he's a Cop and is about to drag her father to prison. The rest of the story is about how Vamsi gets hold of Raghuram through Raghuram's daughter Geetha and what facts he learns about the crime operation of the real Criminal played by Sharat Saxena who deceives Geeta's father Raghuram who is actually an innocent victim, and in the process how the misunderstanding between Geetha and Vamsi gets cleared up, how Vamsi banishes the real criminal.

The story begins in a railway station. Chinni reveals to his co-travelers in the train that he has just been released from prison and that he has served a term of 7 years. Chinni is an aspiring singer and is waiting for his big break. Indu (Simran) gets to hear his voice but all her attempts to catch a glimpse of this lad are in vain. Since she doesn't know how Chinni looks like and neither does he know that she is his admirer, each time they happen to encounter each other Indu seems to perceive that he is a goon and in one such deadly accident she also loses her sight.
Chinni owes the moral responsibility of being the cause for her pain, now devotes all his time only to her. Indu too not realizing the fact that he is the very person she dislikes, starts respecting him and even falls in love with him. Chinni's mother too is constantly informed of all this by him in his letters to her. She eventually dies but decides to donate her eyes to Indu. Indu agrees for being operated and to raise money for her operation, Chinni donates one of his kidneys to Pune based businessman's kin. At the station he is mistaken for being a terrorist and this is how he ultimately lands up behind the bars.
Back in the present, Chinni doesn't know where to go, he has lost track with every body in Hyderabad. This is when he catches a glimpse of his Indu, who is now the collector of Hyderabad. GK has the power to handle goons as well as the real estate business. He calls for applications from MBA graduates as his personal secretary. None of the applicants reach his expectations. He accidentally meets Anuradha (Anu) (Nayantara) and thinks that she is fit for the job. As a 'Boss' he is tough with his staff, at the same time, he has lots of concern over them. During a trip to Malaysia, Anu and GK get closer and Anu loses her heart to GK. When she was about to reveal her love, Anu involves in a petty issue and faces the wrath of GK. Consequently, she resigns to her job. GK calls for interviews for his personal secretary again and zeroes in on Sruthi (Poonam Bajwa). In fact, she was planted in GK's office by none other than SRK. In order to get her father Rammurthy released from a false case, in which he was implicated by SRK, Sruthi steals a tender file. However, she did not hand it over to SRK, but demands her father's release. The crooked SRK did not listen to her. At this juncture, she tries to escape from the scene and gets saved by GK at the instance of Anu. However, Anu injures in the attack by goons in the process, but goes straight to the Tenders office and files the tender to save GK from a huge loss and to fulfil his ambition of securing the dream project. When GK was about to thank her, she reveals her love towards him only to know about the love story of GK. In the flashback, GK reveals that he loved Sanjana (Shriya) and got her married. But she dies in tsunami attack. He says he can't expect someone to replace Sanjana. GK refuses Anu's love politely. As the time goes by, Sanjana's mother Sumitra (Sumalatha) dies of illness in Malaysia and her husband Viswanath (Nasar) tells GK that her last wish is the marriage of GK with Anu. GK also gets a feeling that Sanjana also wants the same. He returns to India and unites with Anu and the film ends on a happy note.

The story begins when a teen named Suri escapes and finds a drug dealer tormenting some little boys. Suri guns down the drug dealer. One of the boys, Raghava expresses his wish to join him. The rest of the boys too become Suri's helpers and eventually his henchman.

The film continues 20 years later with Suri (Nagarjuna) and Raghava (Raghava Lawrence) and with the establishment of the fact that Suri is the Don with a golden heart. Then of course, he has Raghava as his sidekick, who adores him to death. Together, they rule the underworld of Andhra Pradesh. Since he is the unopposed kingpin, our don even has time for a song and dance on his birthday with his basti people. Everything is peaceful and hunky dory. But only till Stephan (Kelly Dorjee) enters the scene. Stephan is a feared don throughout India and he wants to add Andhra Pradesh to his underworld fiefdom. That's what sets off the battle of the dons.

Suri begins to upset Stephan, because Suri refuses to work with Stephan. In many attempts to kill Suri, Stephan's men get killed. One man (Kota Srinivas Rao) wants to kill Raghava. Eventually, Don lets Raghava kill the man because the man also hosted a hideout for Stephan's men in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Don falls in love with Priya (because of the three things he wants in his wife: to be kind, beautiful, and not to be afraid of him), at first she doesn't like him but later she also begins to like him.

Raghava also finds a girl he likes. In that process, Raghava is cornered, where his fiance Nandhini, ends up being on the villains side. Raghava is killed. What happens to Don forms the rest of the crux.
